Howdy! Welcome to my “home on the range” where buffalo still roam and antelope play, but the deer are a major road hazard. And I’ve been told that Kansas has more sunny days than anywhere else in the country.

Mostly this blog is about genealogy in the USA. Here you will find some Kansas genealogy, my personal genealogical searches, and news about the Heartland Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists.  I’ll post information about the Christian Motorcyclists Association, chapter 363, McPherson, KS now and again. And you’ll probably read about the antics of the menagerie that visit my bird feeders outside my office window.
