Now this is frustrating!
Have you ever Googled one of your ancestors and all the hits returned are a posting you made years ago? It’s frustrating!
Having a few free minutes today, I Googled the name of my paternal great-grandfather, Edwin Ruthin Clement. Every single hit was a post I have made. Just when I think I’ve connected to something or someone new, I learn it’s just one of my old e-mail addresses.
Except one hit, in which a distant cousin posted material I shared with him under his own name. He didn’t even list me with the people researching this particular ancestor. Talk about copyright violation!
I know pruning the family tree is frowned upon, but cousin has been definitely pruned!
