			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While the cardinals, sparrows, and squirrels have entertained me all winter, I now have my flicker, gold, purple and house finches, robins, bluejays, grackles, and starlings as well.</p>
<p>I was out of town for the weekend recently, and the squirrel actually knocked on the door when the feeder was empty! My son who takes care of things when we&#8217;re gone, didn&#8217;t accomodate him.</p>

<p>And I&#8217;m the local eating establishment for several squirrels.  I have three native pecan trees, carefully transplanted from the home place in east central Oklahoma. All three were heavy with green pecans. The squirrels managed to get everyone of the pecans again this season.</p>
<p>Anyone know how to keep squirrels out of pecan trees?</p>
