This work is a revised, expanded edition of Mrs. Douglass’ article, “Genealogical Research in Kansas”, which appeared in the National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Volume 92, No. 2, June 2004, pages 119-142. Limited copies of the original NGSQ article are available from the author for $15.00 postage paid.

  • WPA Pioneer Narratives for North Central Kansas. These interviews, conducted in the late 1930s contain genealogical gems from the oldest members of communities in 14 North Central counties.

  • Salina Kansas Vital Records, 1883-1911 and 1911-1930.
  • Gypsum Hill Burial Register, Salina, Kansas, 1898-1930. Gypsum Hill is the municipal cemetery for Salina.
